    Our public event Tuesday night was a great success- we finished the selection of Oregon's first Citizens' Initiative Review panel! A big thanks to all who helped out or attended.

    Thanks to everyone for the encouraging emails in support of the CIR. If you've not signed up to vote in the measure selection- do so soon (i.e. make sure we have a good email address). The vote is coming in a few days.

    As mentioned previously, next Tuesday night (July 29th) we're going to select the Oregon's first Citizens' Initiative Review Panel.     In a hair over two months we'll be running the Citizens' Initiative Review demonstration. The dates are set, Sept 21 -25, as is the location, Salem. The past few weeks have been intense as we move through a couple of important aspects of this project. Here are a few of the tasks we're currently working on. Earlier this month we began to recruit panelists for the CIR demonstration.
