Now, a political reform group wants juries to help Oregon voters judge ballot initiatives.

In order to show the public how the CIR process works, we will be running a full demonstration of the CIR process this fall. HDO's goal in running the demonstration at this point in time is to provide an opportunity to answer common questions about the process, run a full evaluation of our proposal, and really begin the discussion in earnest about making the CIR an official part of our initiative process.
The CIR demonstration will be held in Salem from September 21st through the 25th.Read more...
